| At nexus, we don't have the usual staff structure. We have not one but two teachers on Sundays, but neither of them are the people to talk to about getting involved in small groups or what to do with your kids. All of us are part-time, and as a team we share the many responsibilities that come with keeping our community going. Here's a rundown of the members of our staff, and of the areas for which we are each responsible. | |
The Leadership Team
The Leadership team exists primarily to guard the life and longterm health of nexus by creating functional structures that serve our purpose as a church. |

Kid's Coordinator - Betty Baerg Betty Baerg is an elementary school teacher and mother of two young girls, who loves to read, cook, inline skate and practice yoga in her spare time. As the children's program coordinator, Betty works with a generous group of parent volunteers and plans weekly lessons for kids, ages 4-10, as well as overseeing the nursery/preschool program. Betty believes the role of the church for it's young children is to provide a place where kids can learn about God's unconditional love, be encouraged to see God in the world all around them, build authentic relationships with their peers and leaders and simply have lots of fun! |
